Notice of Course Registration Ends in April 2023

Category:News

We are very grateful that we are about to reach the maximum number of applicants for the April 2023 course, so we are closing applications for the April course as of today.
Due to Japanese government restrictions on immigration last year, students who should have enrolled at an earlier date will now enroll for the April 2022 term.
Because of this, not many will graduate in 2023.
This is the reason why there is not as much capacity to accept applications for the year 2023 as in previous years.
This trend is expected to continue throughout next year.

On the other hand, entry restrictions are becoming more lax by the day, and we do not expect any more entry restrictions due to Covid-19 to occur.

Recruitment for April 2022 students and today.

Category:News

As of today, October 1, the declaration of a state of emergency in Japan has been lifted for the time being.
If the current situation continues, various restrictions on activities will be lifted in stages, although it will largely depend on the future infection situation.
Unfortunately, the restriction on the entry of new international students, which is our long-cherished wish, will not be lifted today.
On September 28, the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education and other Japanese language school organizations submitted a request to Prime Minister Suga for a cleaner entry for foreign students.
As a result, we were able to elicit a statement that the government aims to resume the entry of foreign students as soon as possible.
In fact, the readiness to accept people from overseas has been re-established in the past few days.
As for the relaxation of the quarantine measures after entry into Japan due to vaccination, the policy seems to have been finalized in a very concrete manner, including the specific types of vaccines and what kind of exemptions are available.
It won’t be long before we will be able to meet all the international students who are waiting to enter Japan.

Now that the application for the January 2022 term is over, the application for the April 2022 term has begun in earnest.
The deadline for applications is scheduled for November 12, but there may be a second round of applications this year as well.
Please contact us first.

Japanese government sources Update 2021/07/07

Category:News

Japanese government sources said 2021/07/07

Currently, Japanese embassies around the world have stopped issuing visas to international students, and all international students are unable to enter the country.

Due to this situation, the Immigration Bureau has taken measures to extend the expiration date of the Certificate of Eligibility, one of the documents required to issue a student visa.

All international students through the July 2021 term will be valid until January 31, 2022, regardless of the expiration date written on the COE already issued now.
For the October 2021 term, the COE is valid for 6 months from issuance.

For more information, please visit the website of the Immigration Bureau, Labor and Welfare.

Regarding the validity period of the Certificate of Eligibility (updated 07/05) (excerpt from the above URL)

Since we cannot enter the country as scheduled, the start of classes will be decided when we are able to enter the country.
However, if you wish to take online classes, please contact us.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to students who are planning to come to Japan, but we appreciate your cooperation.

Enrollment of students in April 2021

Category:News

Since October 1, 2020, students who have been waiting in their home countries was able to enter the country through the use of the registrar’s track.

We have been working with students and local agents to provide guidance and preparation before and after their arrival in Japan, and have been able to successfully accept new students since January term.
All students wishing to start their studies in January were able to enter the country.

As for students for the fiscal year ending April 2021,
Due to the extension of the state of emergency, the Japanese embassies in various countries have stopped issuing visas.
As a result, students who have been looking forward to studying in April have to wait.

Students will be informed as soon as new information is available.
